We will provide you many opportunities to experience the people, wonders, natural sites and culture of Mongolia on this unique trip to this unique land.
Day 1 Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to hotel. After check-in hotel, we will do short city tour including Sukhbaatar Square, Chinggis Khaan Monument, Gandan Monastery and Zaisan Hill for panoramic view of the city. Before dinner, we will enjoy Mongolian traditional folklore concert. Have a dinner. Overnight at hotel
Day 2 Ulaanbaatar – Baga Gazariin Chuluu
Drive to Gobi Desert through Baga Gazriin Chuluu known as granite rock formation in the middle of Gobi desert. We will drive through steppe by overview of land-sea and grandiose formation of rocks and basalts of Baga Gazriin Chuluu. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 3 Baga Gazariin Chuluu – Tsagaan Suvarga
Drive to Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa) which is one of the picturesque places in Gobi desert. Just 30 kms away from there you can find cave paintings left from the Bronze Age. Driving to the cave paintings offers one of the uneasy roads but it offer great panoramic view on both sides of the hill on whose top the road itself lies. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 4 Tsagaan Suvarga – Yoliin Am
Drive to Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Mountain Range (Three beauties of Gobi). It is end of the Altai Mountain Ranges and chance to see wild animals such as wild sheep, ibex, condor, golden eagle and of course vultures. We will visit Yoliin Am glacier canyon and enjoy walking between the canyons. Until mid July, we can see some glacier of the canyon. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 5 Yoliin Am – Khongor Sand Dunes
Drive to Khongor Sand Dunes or known as Singing Dunes. Khongor Sand Dunes are the biggest sand dunes of Mongolia. It has an extraordinary length of 180 kms and 15-20 kms wide. There is an oasis near a Khongor river at the northern edge of the sand dunes. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 6 Free day in Khongor Sand Dunes
Stay free day in Khongor Sand Dunes. You can do one hour camel riding and climbing to the sand dunes. Enjoy the sunset in Gobi desert. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 7 Khongor Sand Dunes – Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs
Drive to Bayanzag known as Flaming cliffs. Bayanzag is famous for dinosaur remains, complete dinosaur skeletons and fossilized eggs. American explorer, Roy Chapman Andrews discovered this area in the beginning of 20 century and getting famous all over the world. If you see carefully, you could find some piece of bones or dinosaur egg. Explore the area. In the afternoon we can visit Gobi tree saxaul forest. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 8 Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs – Ongi Temple Ruin
Drive to Ongi Temple Ruin. It was one of the 7 biggest temples. There are ruins of 2 complex monasteries which were built up in 1780s. After people’s revolution in 1921, these two monasteries were destroyed and lamas (monks) were killed by communists. If you get up early, you will have a great chance to see some wild animals such as wild sheep, ibex, wolf etc. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 9 Ongi Temple Ruin – Kharkhorum
Drive to Kharkhorum. It was built in 1220 and was the capital of Mongolia for 140 years. In 1388, it was largely destroyed. Visit to Erdenezuu Buddhist Monastery which was founded in 1586 at the Kharkhorum city ruin. It was the first and the biggest Buddhist center in Mongolia in 17th century. The monastery complex is surrounded by 400x400m walls with 108 stupas. Early 20th century there was more than 100 temples and over thousand lamas used to serve. The monastery was sacked during the purges of 1937. Nowadays, only one temple holds religious activity and rest works as a museum. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 10 Kharkhorum – Tsenkher Hot Springs
Drive to Tsenkher Hot spring which is located in 1860m above sea level in Khangai Mountain Ranges. Arrive in tourist Ger camp and have a bath in hot spring pool. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 11 Tsenkher Hot Springs – Khorgo National Park
Drive to Khorgo Terkh National Park. On the way we will see tree named 108 branches of tree with covered blue scarf (Khadag) and Mongolians are believe that praying for this tree brings good luck and see Chuluut river great canyon which huge creation of volcanic earthquake. Arrive at Khorgo and overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 12 Khorgo National Park
A full day for hiking nearby White Lake or known as Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur and volcanic mountains over 2000m above sea level. Visit Cave of the Yellow Dog, Ice cave and Zaluuchuud cave etc … hike back to Ger camp. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 13 Khorgo National Park – Zuun Lake
Drive to Zuun Lake. Today you will drive through one of the beautiful landscapes of Mongolia. Enjoy walking around the lake. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 14 Zuun Lake – Khuvsgul Lake
Drive to Khuvsgul Lake. Khuvsgul Lake is dubbed as Mongolian Switzerland. It is surrounded with lash green forest mountains. It is the second deepest lake in Central Asia. Also it is a 1% of fresh water resource of the world. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 15 Khuvsgul Lake
Visit Tsaatan family well known as reindeer people where are located approximately 50kms from our camp site and it takes 2 and half hours of driving. Depends on season sometimes these families move on remote area for their reindeers. Mostly there will be two families which are Tsaatan people (reindeer herder) and Shaman. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 16 Khuvsgul Lake
Free day for relax around Khuvsgul Lake. You can have one hour short horseback riding, hiking along the lake shore. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 17 Khuvsgul Lake – Uran Togoo Volcano
Drive to Uran Togoo Volcano. Uran Togoo is one of the oldest dead volcanoes in Mongolia. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 18 Uran Togoo Volcano – Amarbayasgalant Monastery
Drive to Amarbayasgalant Monastery. It is the most beautiful and well preserved old monastery in northern Mongolia. The thing makes this monastery an amazing is its architecture of main temple, constructed without single iron nail and all based on wooden block puzzles. Overnight at tourist GER camp
Day 19 Amarbayasgalant Monastery – Ulaanbaatar
Drive to Ulaanbaatar and we will do short sightseeing tour including Natural History Museum or National History Museum or Bogd Khan Winter Palace Museum. In the afternoon free time for shopping and for relax. Have a farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel

Check out hotel. Transfer to airport. Departure
